A. PITPS and PICA are independent organizations. Most, if not all, members of PITPS are members of PICA.

Q. Why have two separate organizations?

A. The objectives of the two organizations are similar---conservation of the ecosystem of the Pender Islands. PITPS has focussed on Trust related activities while PICA has focussed directly on education, land acquisition and restoration.
